Poleaboo and Other Events

The Poleaboo Incident:

The discovery of one poster’s personal blog has triggered the denizens of /brit/ into a minor frenzy. The blog in question which can be found here, details the autistic musings of Poleaboo, a 24 year old student in his final academic year at an unspecified British university, where he studies accounting. Poleaboo, a handholdless, kissless, and friendless virgin, describes urinating in jugs to avoid social interaction with his roommates and their friends.

This disturbing excerpt is only the tip of the iceberg. Some /brit/ posters have even compared Poleaboo to the notorious Elliot Rodger, nicknaming him the “Ribena Rapist” for reasons that can be discerned through further reading of his blog posts. One strikingly blunt entry from April 1 elicited widespread curiosity and sympathy from the /brit/ riff raff.

According to recent posts made in /brit/, Poleaboo was arrested on a charge of criminal stalking  for threats made online toward a Polish girl at his university. The girl in question was linked to his blog and reported him to the police. His laptop has been confiscated and he appears to have been suspended from his university.

Expect more updates from The Chronicon Autismus as this chapter of /brit/ history continues to develop.

Late Night Smithposting:

The past week has witnessed the emergence of a new late night meme. Triggered by “jlp” from the /brit/ last.fm group, the lyrics to “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out” have been repeatedly posted and discussed in late night editions of /brit/.

Instances of smithposting can be observed above and below.

It remains to be seen whether smithposting will consolidate itself as a /brit/ meme.

Rosamund Pike Avatarfag:

Another interesting development from the past week is the emergence of a new player in the avatar game. His waifu of choice is 36 year old English actress Rosamund Pike.

Can he displace Sershlad as the most diligent waifuposter in /brit/ and write his name into the annals of history? Time will tell.
